 Three connected shale shakers   Shale shakers are the primary solids separation tool on a rig. After returning to the surface of the well the used drilling fluid flows directly to the shale shakers where it begins to be processed. Once processed by the shale shakers the drilling fluid is deposited into the mud tanks where other solid control equipment begin to remove the finer solids from it. The solids removed by the shale shaker are discharged out of the discharge port into a separate holding tank where they await further treatment or disposal.   Shale shakers are considered by most of the drilling industry to be the most important device in the solid control system as the performance of the successive equipment directly relates to the cleanliness of the treated drilling fluid/ drilling mud.   Shale shaker Cut Point  > 76μm

Drilling in horizontal well of deep heavy oil in Tuha Oilfield

CNPC news November 20th, in the Turpan Hami oilfield, Yuxi 1-102H well used to drill well to 4251 meters in 39.2 days, and completed well successfully. The drilling cycle was shortened by 53.4% and the penetration rate increased by 251.1%, which refreshed the new record of Yuxi deep heavy oil horizontal well drilling.   The Yuxi 1-102H well is a technical breakthrough well. In the process of drilling, Turpan Hami engineering and Technology Research Institute strengthens technological research and on-site production organization. Through adjusting drilling parameters and optimizing drilling fluid performance, we implement "one well one strategy, one stage and one strategy" as the core technology. In the upper part of the salt layer, soft rock easily reducing section using two-way well tools and supporting technology in horizontal vertical section, using PDC drill bit + high torque screw design for efficient control of oblique pressure composite drilling, in the oblique section with high whipstocking screw sliding drilling.
