Trenchless HDD Desander and Desilter selection principles and usage skills
In the drilling fluid circulation system, Trenchless HDD Desander and Desilter are composed of a set of hydrocyclones and a small ultra-fine mesh vibrating screen that processes the underflow of the cyclones and recovers the drilling fluid. Desander is used to remove solid particles of 44-74μm, and desilter is used to remove solid particles of l5-44μm. The particle size of the cyclone is not only related to the structure size of the cyclone, but also related to the concentration, density and inlet pressure of the drilling fluid.
Due to drilling fluid requirements, Trenchless HDD Desander and Desilter must be composed of several swirl cones. In order to ensure the normal operation of the cyclone, the inlet pressure must be maintained within the range of 0.25-0.35MPa. Due to the large number of swirl cones and long pipelines in the desilter, the inlet pressure should be larger; the desilter has fewer swirl cones and short pipelines, so the inlet pressure should be smaller. The size of the inlet pressure mainly depends on whether the matching of the sand pump is reasonable, so the choice of the sand pump is very important. The head of the sand pump is usually about 0.4MPa, and the displacement can be equal to the processing capacity calibrated by Trenchless HDD Desander and Desilter. It can meet the requirements of use.
At the same time, how do we choose the appropriate Trenchless HDD Desander and Desilter so that it can exert its maximum effect in the entire drilling fluid solids control system? First of all, it is necessary to refer to the maximum displacement of the drilling pump in order to achieve a reasonable match. There is no strict limit on the use time of these two equipments. Generally, when drilling shallow formations and soft formations, the content of large particles in the drilling fluid is high, and the two must be used at the same time; when drilling formations and hard formations, if used The fine mesh vibrating screen can directly use the desilter to treat the drilling fluid, which has little effect on the purification quality of the drilling fluid and is very economical.
When using the desander, you also need to pay attention to the skills, as follows:
Before use: check the fixing, oil volume, sealing packing and transmission part of the sand pump, the connection of each pipeline, the water eye, the pressure gauge and the gate
When starting: hook the start switch twice
After starting: check the pipeline, pressure and cyclone, and drain the drilling fluid when it is out of service
